PlayStation 4™ – US, EU, JAPAN & ASIA
March 2020 has come and that means, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo‘s action role-playing game, Nioh 2 is just around the corner! So, have you tested your inner samurai skills with the game’s Last Chance Trial demo that has been made available from February 28th until March 1st? If you haven’t, the game’s producer got your back!
In a recent gameplay footage of Nioh 2 released in PlayStation’s YouTube channel, game producer Fumihiko Yasuda walked us through the Last Chance Trial’s Mount Tenno stage. So, if you find it hard in the demo to survive that stage, check out the video below for some quick tips!
In the video, game producer Yasuda discussed the Mount Tenno stage which has been featured in the demo. For those who may not know, Nioh 2 is a masocore game that will bring you in the Warring States period of Japan. According to the producer, its most notable feature is its dark tale involving yokai that will put you to test with its high level of difficulty. Also, each feature-packed stage of the game is inspired by a well-known setting based on Japanese history.
Gameplay-wise, if you noticed in the demo that you’re having a hard time moving on the Mount Tenno stage, the producer just said in the video that it’s because of its swampy ground that slows you down. But, of course, you have a lifesaver here. You can use items such as Sacred Water that will help you deal with the swampy ground.
It is also worth noting that there are 2 new weapons added in the game: Hatchets and Switchglaive. Plus, the producer also gave us a tour into the Yokai-infested Dark Realm, playthrough on an encounter with monsters and more.
Nioh 2 is due out on March 13, 2020.
