Earlier this year, an anonymous user on 4chan had spilled the beans on the allegedly next installment in Ubisoft’s long-running franchise. Surprisingly, tons of information has been leaked such as the game’s title, release date, setting, theme, and gameplay. Yet, all these rumors have been claimed to be false by an analyst from Niko Partners. Although the analyst confirms that yes, some of the leaked details are right, but in general, all of it is not true.
Finally, Ubisoft recently confirmed that yes, the next installment in the long-running Assassin’s Creed series is in the works. And to clear things up, the rumored title “Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok” is not the official name of the next game, instead, it’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The company announced on YouTube via a multi-hour Livestream with artist Kode Abdo, also known as Boss Logic. Boss Logic transparently revealed how he made the artwork of the game’s setting.

Just after a day of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla teaser, Ubisoft finally ended everyone’s curiosity about the game’s platform, story, and all, together with its world premiere trailer.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently poised for a Holiday 2020 release for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia and PC via Uplay and the Epic Games Store.
Players, follow the grand adventures of Eivor, a “fierce Viking raider raised on tales of battle and glory.” Playable as female or male, Eivor commands a group of Norse people across the frozen North Sea to escape Norway’s endless war and depleting reserves. In order for you and your clan to survive, you must build a new shelter on the hostile grounds of England. You’ll not just provide for yourself but for your people as well. Build, customize, upgrade your village with new structures such as barracks, blacksmiths, and tattoo parlors. Of course, you also have to strengthen your unit through the recruitment of new members.
According to the publisher, “Raids will be more action-packed and brutal than anything Assassin’s Creed has seen before, thanks to a visceral new combat system that lets you bash, dismember, and decapitate your foes.” It is a very promising game set during England’s Dark Ages that will let you enjoy its “captivating Viking experience” with its “dynamic and beautiful open world.”
