After a week of unveiling its most anticipated release date, THQ Nordic uploaded a new trailer for Desperados III. And it introduces a new character that you should look forward to the upcoming game.
His name is Hector Mendoza and here’s his character description:
Is it a man or is it a bear? Hector Mendoza’s sheer force makes him a fearsome opponent for all the gangsters in Desperados III. He wears a cruel axe to … well, better see for yourself. Also, he lays out his beloved bear trap Bianca, where his opponents can step in and … well, better see for yourself. And if these elimination methods are still not effective enough for you, Hector also has a sturdy shotgun with the ability to take out multiple targets with one blast. – THQ Nordic

Furthermore, this upcoming game is the fourth latest entry in the beloved real-time strategy franchise. The first game in the series emerged back in 2001 with Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive followed by Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge in 2006 and Helldorado in the following year.

This real-time tactics game, developed by German game studio Mimimi (who earned their spurs with the critically acclaimed title Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun), lets players command a band of Desperados led by fan-favorite gunslinger John Cooper, who’s hunting down his nemesis.
Heavily inspired by the first game of the franchise, Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, Desperados III will allow the player to approach each mission with a wide variety of different solutions and routes. As the player’s gang will always be outnumbered, only smart use of both the environment and each Desperado’s unique character skills will guarantee a victorious outcome.
