ININ Games revealed that they teamed up with Sekai Games and Regista to release the physical edition of Root Double: Before Crime * After Days – Xtend Edition for the Nintendo Switch.
If you are not familiar with the game, this visual novel is set in a combined city and research hub in the year in the year 2030. It is a place wherein the residents are unable to interact with the outside world without the permission from the local authorities. And later on, after an accident at an institute in the city, one of the game’s two protagonists, Watase Kasasagi, is sent in as part of a rescue team while the other, Natsuhiko Tenkawa, a high school student happens to be in the institute as well at the time of the accident. Game Overview
A disaster has struck a nuclear facility! The rescue team slowly uncover a mystery much greater than they ever imagined. The key to survival lies in the player’s hands with the Senses Sympathy System (SSS). Your emotions projected upon the characters, particularly your trust in them, shape the progression of the story. Only with effective use of this system and completion of both protagonists’ stories can the player piece together the truth.
