Created by Tokuro Fujiwara in 1985; Ghosts ‘n Goblins bring us the epic feeling of chivalry deeds in a brand new interactive way that sees knights, princesses, zombies, and demons fight to reclaim their superiority over the physical and spiritual dimensions. Composed of four main episodes, and various spin-offs; the adventures of Arthur transcended the binary coded world appearing in a big number of other media including manga, comics, toys, and much more.
For all the ones who played the original version in arcades and for the new generations who never heard about it; finally, Capcom gives us the opportunity to [re]play this milestone on Nintendo Switch. In case you don’t know the story, it is quite simple. During a clear night, Satan appeared to kidnap the beautiful Princess Prin Prin. Unfortunately for the Lord of Hell; her boyfriend is not a common villager, but is a brave knight who’s determined to travel across the whole Hell to rescue his beloved one. What is not absolutely simple is all the rest. In fact, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection for Nintendo Switch comes with a wonderfully revamped gameplay system in which we can choose our favorite way towards the Satan’s Palace, a new art style that catches the eye of new ‘n old fans, new tree system that allow Arthur to unlock new skills and magic spells, and much more.
Like a fine wine, the time has improved the series’ legacy. All the excitement and intensity of it continues in this episode, and as brave armored heroes; we are all ready to accomplish this new challenge for the sake of Prin Prin.
