In the beginning, was Gust Corporation… established in 1993 as a dōjinshi games creator; the first game company in Nagano started its wonderful career with The Story of King Aress.
Developed exclusively for NEC PC-98; in this adventure game, we follow the story of Aress, the 16^th years old heir of king Rudolph Adfral. In the past, like an overprotective parent, king Rudolph confined his young son within the capital of the kingdom, but with the fulfillment of the fateful 16 years, he’s free to discover the world outside.

Traveling throughout the fantastic world of Elenes; in The Story of King Aress, we can live a great story in which every decision counts. Equipped with a quite slow-pace turn battle system, who allow us to choose the best tactics to defeat all the enemies on the road to adulthood; thanks to this deep and funny to play adventure Gust made a name quickly within the gaming communities of Japan. Motivated by its first success, through the decades the company developed a large number of games one better than the other!
