Light has released its new generation battle visual novel Magatsu Barai which dues out for Nintendo Switch next year. Yes, you read it right! This game is set to launch on January 17, 2022, in Japan. The game will focus not only on serious battles, but also on depicting exhilarating, intense, and enjoyable battle stories.

A Limited edition that includes a mini soundtrack, artbook, and special box is also available for the game.

Game Overview

The “Spiritshine” is a mysterious power that has existed for a long time in humanity and nature. Hayato Isurugi, an apprentice of a “Spiritualist” whose job is to master the power and exorcise the demons, enjoying a peaceful life at Shinwa Academy.
He’s making a charm with his part-time job to earn money, enjoy talking with good friends. And for thanking his sister, he secretly planning to give a gift for all she does for him. But his everyday life was shattered by the unexpected assailant.
Hayato is seriously injured trying to protect his friends while the Academy is in chaos. But on the verge of life and death, he encounters a young woman named “Magatsu”, the incarnation of an evil spirit sealed by his ancestors. It was a thousand years ago during the Heian era that the city was attacked by the Thirteen Demons. — In a form of a beautiful young woman, the calamity smiled.
