Borderlands is an original First Person Role Playing Shooter that combines the intuitive reward systems of action role playing games and the frantic-paced shooting combat of first person shooters. The game features a groundbreaking content generation system allowing for near-endless variety in weapons and item drops. Borderlands allows for 4 players to share the same game experience simultaneously online in co-o gameplay. Players can freely join or leave each other's games at anytime, or choose to play in the full single-player mode. These features, along with a rich and deep fiction that touches upon the mysteries buried beneath the surface of a danger-filled planet, combine to form a breakthrough experience that challenges the conventions of modern shooters.

Intresting and Funny game
Graphics are awesome, game play and sounds are incredible. The story mode, and the co-op mode in PS Network completes a very great game.

Interesting game
Borderlands is a hybrid of FPS and RPG. However skeptical you are of this combination, don't be: It works wonderfully.
Basically, what you do is run around doing quests and collecting loot, just like in games like Dungeon Siege. There is a story, but you won't see much of it until later in the game.
Another very interesting feature is that the game not only includes co-op (both split-screen *and* online), it is designed around it. Your character's skills affect your team mates, and bosses' patterns are such that they encourage multiplayer. This is also a weakness, however: Single player players will sometimes find the questing routine rather repetitive. It's not a major concern, but having a friend along for the ride makes things a lot better.
