description

Dying once is not enough. Gamers need to be devoured repeatedly in Dark Souls before they find the way to survival. Those who think they have beaten the ultimate challenge? Think again. Because Artorias of the Abyss is coming.

The developers estimate that the new content is going to last gamers ten to twenty hours, but it's hard to tell, all those demons might just give you more trouble than you can imagine.

The Artorias of the Abyss chapter takes place hundreds of years ago. There are three new areas, four bosses and many new items. One of the areas is revealed to be the Black Forest. Although it's in the same location as the one in the existing game, the enemies and the buildings inside are completely different.

Prepare to die
IN-CRE-DI-BLE!!!

One of the greats
Dark Souls is one of the best games to come from this generation where every creatures is a deadly enemy against unwary traveller. Challenge might be overwhelming and the story is carefully hidden away to worlds details and item descriptions, but if you stick with it you might be in for an experience that you won't forget. If you find Lore hard to follow, I recommend looking into this games online community.

Artorias of the Abyss is a great expansion that adds a handful of new great bosses, but the expansion is easily completed in one evening.

NOTE TO IMPORTERS / COLLECTORS.
There is an Artorias of the Abyss Edition that comes with special case with picture of Artorias' Greatsword, guide book, behind the scenes, map / poster and soundtrack complete with new tracks from the expansion. THIS ISN'T IT. For price of $50, I highly recommend getting NTSC / PAL versions of "Prepare to Die Editions".

Excellent game
I enjoyed the game a lot, and dying plenty of times, could you please update the description and image, to show that it is only the game being sold, and doesn't include the japanese extras, as it normally would

Not bad for the price.
The sleeve is probably one of my favorite things about the whole package. Not only that but both sword illustrations on the front and back of the sleeve are slightly textured, which makes it 'sexy' to the touch. However, I was a bit disappointed with the 'special' map as there is, really, nothing "special" about it... just a printout on plain bond paper (was it too much to ask to have it printed on glossy paper?) . Plus, it only features ol' Lordran and not much else. The game's "class" builds are shown on the back. Well, at least the art is competent but - I must say - I expected much more.

Soundtracks are always a nice bonus and this one contains the new music courtesy of the DLC. That said, with this being the definitive version of Dark Souls; having the DLC on-disk is its biggest plus.
