A great sequel with new features!
This new installment of Project DIVA let's us connect closer to our favorite Vocaloid.

The core gameplay is of a similar play style to Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F, removing the double star notes and link stars introduced in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd.

The game also introduces "rush notes", for which the player is to rapidly press the corresponding button in order to increase their score.

A new "Live Quest" mode takes center focus over the traditional free play mode.

The game now centers around the "home" menu, which is an adapted version of earlier titles "diva room", where the player can interact with the Vocaloids. "Home" also replaces the traditional main menu.

Still a great game.
Although the gameplay is mostly the same. It doesn't feel like a fill fledged game like its predecessors. They tried something new with how progression works and its different but still fun.

Songs and choreography are still great like you know them, but the videos just have the vocaloids dancing on a single stage unlike the other games where they're more like actual music videos. Progression is made sort like a visual novel/rpg feel with rng to earn items and modules.

All in all, it's still worth getting if you're a vocaloid fan. Just know its not like the past games. Think of it as an extra game. It's in the title as well. Project Diva X(tra).
