description

Another contender enters the fray for top virtual diva - IA is a Vocaloid starring in her new rhythm game for the Vita! Developed by Kenichiro Takaki who was previously the producer of the infamous Senran Kagura, IA has a definite edge on the competition!

As with most console handheld rhythm games, players will be moving the analog sticks and pressing buttons in time with the tempo of musical notes. What makes IA/VT different is the dynamic feedback based on a player's performance - colors and more will change accordingly in the most fantastic of ways!

Track wise, there are 60 different songs with some tracks featuring new exclusive music video background footage of the artists performing their songs. There will also be different play modes, with challenge modes, consecutive play and free play.

A good game for beginners
Music is entertaining. Can play without Japanese Knowledge, tracklist is around 80 songs. Defenitively Worth the investment

Love it!
The dozens of hours I've spent on this game speak for themselves. IA is an excellent vocaloid and I love what the artists have accomplished with her. Not much else to add on top of other reviews already on here. Great music, great gameplay, decent visuals, great value. No Japanese language skill really needed but some requirements in Step Up Play mode might be hard to understand if you don't know the language. Highly recommended regardless.

Very fun music rhythm game and totally playable knowing zero Japanese.
Lots of songs in the initial release (more for DLC if you play on a non-US account and have money to spend), but PLENTY of content even if you don't get into the DLC, which I never did. Not the best production values in some of the songs (there's no animations/dancing in all of them) but a very fun game, one of the better vocaloid voices belongs to IA if I do say so myself. If you like music rhythm games and you want a good one, this is the one!

I like it better than Miku.
I like this better than the Hatsune Miku games since you have a line to focus your attention so you know easily when to press the buttons in sync with the rhythm. You don't need to know Japanese. Its pretty simple and the tutorial make it easy to play. Buy it!

Fantastic rhythm game, great stepping stone to harder game.
Recently started getting back into the rhythm game genre, also recently finished Persona 4: DAN. To start off this great bridge between easier games such as that and more difficult ones such as the Project Diva series.

Soundtrack is top notch with plenty of variety. For me personally, I only found a handful of tracks that I wasn't at all fond of.

Gameplay. As mentioned, there is plenty of variety here, not just in genres but also song length and BPM. This helps each track in the extensive playlist feel unique and different. The presentation of the notes is also quite fun. Each song providing their own visual challenges when it comes to predicting what's next. The difficulties also transition very well. Each tier's final songs leaving you in step with where the next difficulty begins.

All in all this is a great rhythm game to add to your vita collection.
