This is the complete and definitive recording of Friction's historic live performance at Kanagawa University in 1980. Released in 1996, the year after the release of "Zone Tripper", "_ed '79 Live" was hard to find (it was released on CD in 2005 as "79 Live"), and was welcomed by old and new fans alike as an insight into Friction's early live performances. Although this performance took place only six months after "79 Live," it is clear that the trio had evolved and deepened to a frightening degree.
