Greatness
Review of Metal Gear Solid HD Edition [Limited Edition]
The games are great, but the disc being region locked makes this a pure collector's piece. If you're after getting the games, I would highly recommend western HD collection which comes with Peace Walker on top of MGS2 and MGS3 or recently released Metal Gear Solid Legacy collection for complete collection.
But the packaging and artbook are the reason to get premium package. The packaging and game case features amazing artwork from talented series artist Yoji Shinkawa that will crown your Metal Gear collection and this collection comes with thick hardcover artbook covering the art from original trilogy with wide variety of different type of artwork from character sheets to scenario art to promotional artwork.
Collection also comes with a soundtrack. I was little disappointed that it wasn't a plentyful selected tracks collection of all three games, but simply the five vocal tracks of the original trilogy with three instrumentals of these songs. Of course "The best is yet to come", "Snake Eater" and "Way to fall" are mind blowingly amazing songs and it's still worth having.
tl;dr: A great package for collectors but if you're interested in getting the games, I would highly recommend a different collection.
