Item Description
Stories tell of a legendary soldier who, with Metal Gear in his command, had once waged war against the world. His name Naked Snake, a.k.a. Big Boss. Now, in response to a world hungry for answers, the truth behind this legend will finally be told. The era is the 1970's. Big Boss had stationed his "Soldiers without Borders" in Columbia, South America, where he was approached by a visitor from Costa Rica "a Nation without a Military". In the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis, as Latin America became a key to maintaining the power balace between East and West, Costa Rica had miraculously managed to maintain its peace and neutrality. However, in various regions of the country, a mysterious armed force seemed to be engaging in suspicious activities. Now, to preserve peace in this nation without a military, the "Soldiers without Borders" move into action. In time, they would come to be known as the founders of "Outer Heaven." Forge a new path and live the legend with "Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker", the first official "Hideo Kojima Game" on the PSP system!

The Best Walker of Peace
Very well made edition and also very nice presentation for all MGS collectors. Game is a very worthy work from Kojima san; matches every actual standard and levels the bar very high.

an significant improvement from MGS OPS
If you enjoyed MGS Ops, I would say you would most definitely enjoy Peace Walker as well, if not more. The game is built on a much better or stronger plot IMO. The bosses are a lot more challenging than MGS Ops. And there's plenty of extra missions to play and unlock weapons or what-not even if you're done with the main story. The controls are also much improved, you can choose over 3 different control types and see which style best suit you. What's more nana mizuki fans would be overjoyed, as she plays a significant role in the game as well.
.
the downside to the game or reason I didn't give it a full 5 star is. There is a great lack of human bosses. And also I don't see why they disabled crawling. otherwise this game is pretty much perfect.

Blew my mind
There is something for everyone in this game! If you want to stealth there is stealth; you want bullet spraying boss fights you have it. This game is so well done that you wonder how did they put that much stuff into a UMD. Definitely one of the best PSP games ever made.
