it's a combination between a dungeon crawler an a persona game, however is not that complicated, the game itself is very simple and enjoyable, the story involving the game isn' t exactly an oscar award, but do his job to follow a theme. My opinion in general is that it deserve a chance if you have the time to play it.
If you are into dungeon RPG, definitely try this one! I enjoyed it a lot! The different characters to choose from and the story itself is quite nice too!
Kinda felt that the game tried to imitate persona too much and failed. still a good rpg just dont expect too much from it.
This game, is like a clump of every JRPG put there, having some of the good and bad. It has the impressive battle system, the okay music, the characters that make you go "meh" and the story that is as interesting as White Knight Chronicle's, pretty lame, but you can't hate it.
It is not a Persona rip off, though there are many similarities, I think every JRPG of this generation follows the same formula with: high school kids having secret abilities that no one can know about busting baddies trying to save the world. FF has the light bearers, Persona has, well, Persona's, Star Ocean has the Symbology and what-not. Try it, and if you play it for for the entertainment its meant to be, you'll most probably enjoy it.
Sure, Mind 0 is NOT original but it does have an interesting story, the characters have their own personality and the voice acting is just perfect (I chose jap but it also contains english for those who lack common sense or good taste). The artworks remind me of Persona but the game itself doesn't have that the timed element that's annoying as hell in the Persona series. Only bad thing would be the music : apart from the one on the world map and the boss fights, there isn't much to remember. The gameplay could have been a lot deeper since there's no fusion system and the sidequests could have had more variety. Nevertheless, the game's really good and the general atmosphere reminded me of Shin Megami Tensei (dark story in a modern world). I had a lot of fun playing it. Anyone who has a psvita and wants a good Jrpg should try it.
