Sega will be releasing an all new anime-girl rhythm game for the PlayStation Vita due out this December 17th in Japan. The title's rhythm gameplay will utilize the same engine that has been used in the Project Diva series of games.
Miracle Girls Festival will include both songs and characters from a number of popular series like YuriYuri,Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova, KINMOZA!, and a number of others (10+ series total!).
Thus far Sega has detailed the game's 'Tour Mode', where players become the concert director and develop different concerts across six locations. Tour organization takes place in days, and when you've completed all the days for a tour a new tour with higher difficulty settings will be made available.
Players will be able to choose and perform set lists, where the primary objective is to reach a certain quota of audience members. By performing songs players will be rewarded with 'Miracle Coins,' based on how well the performance was. These coins can be used to unlock even more songs! The further you progress in the game the more songs you'll unlock and be able to freely edit into your set lists.

If you wish that Project Diva was even more anime, this is the game for you. It seems a bit easier (so far), but the modes you unlock via Bingo seem challenging enough.
If you can't at least read katakana, you'll need to look up the menus and bingo translation online.
fan of Miku diva and anime is definitely a must buy game! looking forward on next project.
I'm not well into rhythm games (played FF threatrhymn on 3ds) but got this as my brother said was fun like the Project diva games he said was too easy but I found tricky enough.
Love it though and still playing.
Certainly going to be trying other rhythm games on vita now.
It helps that I know a few of the referenced series going in and seeing the songs performed in a rhythm game is a lot of fun.
Very similar to vocaloid gaming.
There is no English option, however the menus are very straight forward to figure out (even easier with minimal understanding of Japanese).
Highly recommend to fans of both rhythm games and the anime presented in the game.
As a recent fan of music rhythm games and a fan of the Project Diva series in that, this game seemed like a no-brainer. Especially with it being from the same dev's of Project Diva, with the same gameplay as well. It's very easy to play knowing no Japanese, once you figure out some of the menus. The game IS a bit light on content overall, only 22 songs, not many unlockables and so on, so just be aware of that going in. Otherwise it's quite fun. And I know NOTHING about any of these anime and I'm liking some of the music. The choreography is cool too, and it's great to see 3, 4 and more girls all dancing at once on most of the songs!
