It started not quite as interesting but..
This follow the events of 0079 and things get a bit messy at first if you haven't watched that. The story begins to developed itself to its own a bit later, and from then on became a classic Gundam anime.

Saddest moment in Gundam universe
It doesn't have fancy animation, no emo protagonist, but real Gundam fans will appreciate the ending in this one, truly memorable and touching
