description

MonHun Nikki is the first Monster Hunter spin off game. Instead of realistic and fearsome, everybody became cheerful and cute. Become one of the Airu cats and build your own village. Farm, fish and take up missions from the guild. Chibi-fied monsters will make their appearances, bring your team of Airus and hunt them down.

This game is linked to Monster Hunter 3 and 2G portables, by using the save data, you can get rare items and skills. So be sure to play all these games in parallel. Networking and multiple player mode is supported, come call your friends to join you in your village via the network modes.

Great game for everyone!
I bought this game because I'm a fan of the Monster Hunter series, but I wasn't expecting it to be that great with it being aimed for a broader audience and being more cartoon-y, however, I was quite surprised. This game is first of all, very easy to play whether you speak Japanese or not, as most of the quests have the requirement bolded for you. The game is well rounded, from farming, to hunting it fulfils the needs of most people playing it. There's even a fun little mini game to race poogies~ Great game, and worth the money.

Cute addition to the great series!
This game's cute and funny and can be enjoyed very well without knowledge of Japanese.

it's cute
I like this game and playing it while waiting for mhp3. This game is kinda like animal crossing, you can visit your friends town and hunting with them. Those cat and monsters are so cute.

Cute!
If you're a fan of the monster Hunter series and like cute things, this game is perfect. It is highly text-based as far as quests and goals are concerned, but for a beginning Japanese learner it is not impossible. Since the commands and options are mostly the same, it just may take some trial and error to learn how to do things. Some quests are difficult if you don't know what it wants, but there are guides available online.
You can change your character's clothes, the appearance of the guild hall, and place items in it. You make friends with other Felynes in the village and you can race Pugees that you collect. Hunting is fun and reminiscent of the Patapon games, though not rhythm driven. Just because the game is cute, don't think it isn't challenging though!
