The kingdom of Valentine was the most powerful country on the continent of Erion. Its people thrived using the magical power of the Crystallization Cauldron, but it was destroyed in one fateful night. And so, a war over the now master-less Cauldron has begun, involving all the nations of the land and growing more intense by the day. Is the End near, as the Prophecy states?

Now, in short: this game is awesome. If you played the original, you know you're going to have an amazing time with the gorgeous art and gameplay, but these have been upped.
First, gameplay has been revamped as the preview says. Gwedolyn used to be fun to play with, but was really stiff. All that has changed, she got a dash, evade action and much more, it's a lot more dynamic from minute one. I hope to get more surprises when I advance more (don't want to spoil just in case). Also, there seems to be a bigger vertical space or zoomed out, so flying enemies are a lot easier to spot.
Inventory management is a lot better, with seeds, food and potions taking different spaces, so I guess extra pouches could be added, since it still has a limit.
On graphics, it retains the beautiful art from the PS2, but now 1080p/60fps. However, it seems they just re-scaled the PS2 graphics or used better ones, but you can still see jaggies and rough edges here and there. It doesn't take away from the experience one bit, but just wanted to mention it.
So, little review: more than an HD remaster (since graphics have been improved, but not redone), but gameplay wise this version is a lot more dynamic than the old one and that was a pleasant surprise.
