description

15 years have passed since the defeat of the Genma and the evil lord Nobunaga Oda. Darkness that once pladgued the lands crept back to their shadowy depths, leaving behind nothing but a whisper of their former self. Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Nobunaha's successor became the new ruler of Japan and all seemed peaceful. Until now...

With the rise of an eerie crimson star to the East, Hideyoshi underwent an evil transformation, spreading malice and cruelty to all lands, near and far. The Genma, hearing the call of evil, started to reappear in the land, strinking into the hearts of the people.

The year is now 1598 and the latest chapter in the epic struggle between good and evil will begin anew...

THIS GAME IS POOR!
the game gets very repetitive very quickly, and is is poor in relation to the last onimusha game. the storyline is poor and i was dissapointed by this game, get onimusha 3, devil may cry 3 or god of war instead!, the graphics at this stage of the ps2s life are average. hard coreonimusha fans may like it, but at the end of the day a complete let down!

This is THE game to play
I\'ve never played an Onimusha game before, but after living in Japan for a few years and hearing about it everywhere, I was curious, so I bought this one, and I am glade I did. I just finished it and am here writting this, the story was unbeleivable! IT was so original. The game play was great, I likved the criticals and the chain effects, and the 5 diffrent people with the diffrent styles was great! If you\'re only going to buy one game this year, Shin Onimusha Dawn of Dreams is it!

Best of the Best
You may believe the press and the users telling you that Onimusha 4 is the best game in the series. It is. Epic story, cool characters, tons of new equipment and items, huge stages and lots to explore. You don\'t wanna miss this ...

PS: I knew it all along. Just look at his gauntlet... ;)

Best in the series!!!!
Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is hands down the best in the series. Gameplay is great as you know with critical combos and such. Alot of weapons to work with and a great onimusha story. Just set a new high in the onimusha series.
