Rather niche RPG that isn't for everyone, but still worth playing for fans
Game mechanics can be quite repetitive and grindy - however that's probably what's expected out of JRPG fans - its world and characters can be interesting and it does show the pedigree of the developer.

Great sequel
The final fantasy sequel is fun to watch and you can still use lightning in the game.

Nice RPG
Persona RPG is undoubtedly the top notch within the JRPG genre. Fun and easy command type system, very good story and music. I'm happy to add this into my JP 3DS collection.

This version is in English too
If you like the idea of making your own RPG then you may like this "game".
Even this Japan version has English on it & also has the benefit of 4 DLC pack being available (unlike the EU & US versions) of which 2 are free downloads but you will need to set up a Japanese account on your switch.
The EU & US DLC is incompatible with the Japan version.
This isn't the most newbie user friendly interface but after a while you will become a custom to the controls, I would advise you connect a keyboard (at least & if you have the right cable, attach a mouse as well) to the switch, which will make typing the text easier.
You can easily spend hours setting up events & building your world, if you like to make a world & an RPG than I would recommend this, it just takes time to get used to the controls but if you are ever stuck you can always look up tips online & on YouTube.

cute RPG
I like the plot, combined with a rather satisfying gameplay and a delightful art style. Somewhat nice 2D platforming to my collection.
