Forget about Yakuza politics, focus on controlling the zombie rampage. People in Asia's largest crime and entertainment hot spot are turning into the undead. No longer will you be fighting with just your fists, knives and baseball bats, you'll have canons, tanks, gatling guns and shot guns. Your aim is to burn down all that stands in your path and make it out of the locked areas alive.

The story will be told in four view points, besides Kiryuu, other Yakuza bosses and shady figures are going to be here to save the day. Zombies multiply fast, and you might have difficulties gunning them down by yourself, recruit a partner and train them up. Your partner could be a normal citizen, or she could be a cabaret club girl in a slinky dress carrying a bazooka.

Don't forget to visit the play spots and go on dates with the girls - aside from zombies, everybody is welcome in the night clubs.

kamourocho inflames burn baby burn
First of all this game is entirely in Japanese with Japanese Subtitles and as with Yakuza 4 you play as 4 different characters throughout the game.

The controls take quite a while to get used to since they are very different from western shooters e.g. the shoot button is the square button instead of R1.To make shooting more accurate you can hold down the R2 button which puts up a reticule.

Then to move the reticule you have to use the left stick instead of the right stick which western shooter use, while you have the reticule up you cannot move much like resident evil 5.

But if this game is released in the west they will have to change the controls (button locations).

New to the series are partners who join you when you’re not on a mission and you enter an infection zone each partner also has a submission which you can complete hostesses can also join you when you have maxed out their 20 hearts in the hostess clubs.

When you take partners out with you they can gain experience and level up to and each can also be equipped with special abilities e.g. they might throw grenades at zombies for you can shoot the grenades in a quick time event.

You can also liberate shops in the infected zone e.g. the Cruz bar in the underground mall among other locations, the further you play into the story more of the city is taken over by the zombies and the more shops you have to liberate.

The thing I didn’t like about Yakuza 4 was the boring map same a Yakuza 3 but with less in it.But this time around it is a pure joy to see kamourocho in flames the destroyed city is beautiful a pumps much life (undead) into the recycled map.

This game is a must for fan and anybody who is tired of the setting should come back a gives this a go..There is so much to do in this game I could write for pages but I better stop..

Great Game
It's the yakuza storyline set in a zombie infested tokyo. Much like resident evil but more fun!!!A great game even if you do not understand much Japanese, you should still have no problem playing through. Lots of skills to choose from when you level up and lots of weapons to obtain. You can even craft weapons and armor later on. A must have for all Yakuza fans!!!

Great story line, funny sub-stories :>
After first time meet the Yakuza 3, I'm becoming loyal supporter for Sega Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku Series. Although this special series is more like shooting game, but i do not have any problem to complete it even i'm not good in shooting using PS3 controller. Waiting for next series of Ryu Ga Gotoku 5. 頑張ろう日本!
