I've heard mixed reviews regarding to this game, but decided to get it anyways, since the game itself has an original look. It's not a Samurai or cowboy game, but a mix of both which is why its really interesting. I loved Western movies and loved Samurai movies, and always thought about having one against the other. Although the gameplay is alittle difficult, and troubling at times, but it's the concept itself that attracts me to this game.
This game isn't for everyone, but I'm glad I got it for the right price before it went up again. Thanks Play-Asia~!

Boring
Samurai Western is one of the most boring and uninspired games I have ever played. You basically run around chopping up guys with your sword for 16 levels and then the game ends. There is absolutely zero variety in weapons, the special moves are all lame, you can deflect bullets with your sword but they go off in random directions, and the story could have been written by a 6 year old.
The in-game camera is a horrible mess, it will get snagged on objects meaning you fight blind a lot, but then even when it does work properly there\'s really nothing exciting to see anyway.
Give this game a miss, if you want to play a cowboy game get GUN, if you want to play a samurai hack\'n\'slash get Samurai Warriors or one of the countless other similar games.
