Freaking loved this!
A game I'd been looking for for a while now. The game has all of the usual NIS flare, and the Disgaea-style "really high level ceiling". But it's all nicely contained with a more structured narrative, and more strategic combat based around units consisting of multiple characters, that must be put in a formation that makes sense (fighters up front, magic users in the back). I just wanted the game so I could actually finish it. Let this gem slip through my fingers when it first came out.
