description

Tales of Berseria (Japanese: テイルズ オブ ベルセリア Hepburn: Teiruzu Obu Beruseria) is an upcoming role-playing game for the PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. It is the sixteenth main entry in the Tales series, developed and published by Bandai Namco. It is set for release in Japan on August 18 2016, and worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows at a later date.Tales of Berseria will mainly take place in the Midgand Sacred Kingdom, a powerful country that rules over this world's archipelago of a continent. The game's world of "Wasteland" is shared with Tales of Zestiria, although the events of Berseria occur in the distant past of Zestiria. There are countless numbers of islands around, and Midgand's rule crosses even the seas. Areas of land and islands in the game are divided into "territories." The game follows the protagonist Velvet Crowe (ベルベット クラウ Berubetto Kurau, voiced by Rina Satō), a 19-year-old pirate who completely changed because of an incident that happened three years prior to the events of the game. Alongside her Spirit companion Laphicet (ライフィセット), she battles warriors who have shed their emotions in pursuit of victory against rogue monsters. Two other characters were later announced, Rokuro, voiced by Daisuke Kishio, and Eleanor, voiced by Ami Koshimizu respectively.Bandai Namco Entertainment had filed a trademark for the title, along with two other titles, on April 20, 2015. The game's main theme is the conflict between emotion and reason, with Velvet being the incarnation of emotion and rage. On June 6, 2015, the game was officially announced, including details on the protagonist Velvet, voiced by Rina Satou and designed by Mutsumi Inomata. It was revealed that ufotable will animate the cutscenes. The game was described as the final part of the company's 20th anniversary celebrations for the Tales series. The game's year of release was announced in December 2015, while its western release for PS4 and Microsoft Windows was confirmed the following week. The game's theme song, "Burn", will be composed and performed by Flow.

Next generation Tales of
This game bases on the previous Tales of Zestiria, and improves on every aspect. The battle system is great and fluid and the characters are pretty likeable

wow!
a truly fascinating journey. gameplay-wise it's got some great new features, while staying true to old tales of-roots at the same time. the much more action-oriented combat turned out to be wonderfuld. and the whole experience is an emotional roalercoaster. wonderfully written with a fantastic soundtrack by motoi sakuraba - although this is not everyones cup of tea. on a side-note: being a prequel to the last game in the series - tales of zestiria - it pretty much fixes all the problems i had with this game - including its poor, abrupt story-explanations. knowledge about zestirias story, however, is not needed. for me this is the best tales of-game since abyss. haven't been this involved in videogame-characters for a long time. outstanding!
