I think the game is simple but enjoyable!
Nice dark storyline!
If there were more characters to choose from to play as, the game would have more variation and be even better!
I am looking forward to the PS4 remake of the game
For those who had played any NIS game, know what it means, heavy anime influence with a lot of dark humor :D
The game play is relative easy, so it's enjoyable for new players
I'm genuinely troubled as to what I should say about this game. I enjoyed a great deal about it, but there are many things that may ruin it for you.
Ok let's see. It's gameplay is quite simple and not hard to learn, but it doesn't evolve much throughout the game. The music is superb, very atmospheric at certain stages and the voice acting is really good too (I chose the Japanese voices though). The graphics are legitimately bad, like, really bad, most of the time. The game is still very very beautiful, but you cannot look the other way when it comes to the quality of the graphics. What kept me going mostly, was the story. It has its peaks and valleys, but becomes interesting halfway through. That said, towards the end it can get really f*cked up, based on your choices. I advise you to go for the complete ending without a second thought.
So I think you should really learn about the game before you get it, and if you do, don't take it lightly.
It's a very mediocre RPG. Not good, but not bad either. The english dub is done surprisingly well, considering how it's infamous for being tacky and forced. The music is excellent. I'm glad the free CD came with most of my favourite tracks from the game. HOWEVER, this game is buggy and it will crash at random times. Seeing as it's NIS America that handled the localization, expect an update for that never.
