While Toshin Toshi has strong eroge roots, don't let the idea of a Harem fool you. In fact, Imageepoch's first 3DS title is a dungeon crawling RPG with deep battle and gameplay elements!
As the old adage goes, "Behind every great man is an even greater woman," and in this case, Toshin Toshi game mechanics display exactly this. Follow Seed, a warrior in training who's motivations to join a tournament of strength stems from the fact that the love of his life Hazuki is taken away by his greatest rival. In order to get her back, Seed must succeed in the tournament, but to do so, he needs to acquire help from other female characters. For this to work, in the world of Toshin Toshi, Seed must first defeat other contestants and actively woo their female counterparts. Upon success, these beautiful women will bestow upon Seed their power in the gift of special moves and abilities; there are over 100 unique powers, so Seed better get to work wooing.
With gorgeous anime scenes interlaced between battle and story, an interesting premise of joining the harem and RPG genre, capturable monsters and a lot of collectibles, Toshin Toshi is looking as good as the harem.

The game has a great RPG battle system and is pretty interesting as you only control only 1 person in the game, instead of a party of characters like alot of JRPGs do. You can also capture monster girls and use their abilities during battle, which is really fun.
Don't let the advertised content for this game sway your thoughts towards it. Toshin Toshi is actually a really fun RPG. Its base combat reminds me a bit of Bravely Default, but it definitely has its own playstyle. My biggest compliant is how long it takes to get started. There are a lot of wordy introductions and tutorials, which this may turn some people off.
On a side note, I am maybe at an intermediate level in Japanese, and I have had relatively little issues with understanding this game. There are a few instances were words get so squished as to nearly unreadable, but this is fairly standard and not a big deal. The dialogue stays on the screen until you prompt it otherwise. Additionally, you can also change the text speed.
Toshin Toshi is a cool old school dungeon crawler! Cute girls, monsters, and even cards play part in this game. I am only partially fluent in Japanese and I would recommend at least experience playing other JRPGS in Japanese if you're interested in this one as most things are not always sel explanatory! But if you are a patient gamer, I say go for it! I love this game and hope for a us release one day! ;)
If you're a loyal Alicesoft's fan, then this game is perfect one. Although it's no longer H-game but RPG system is just perfect.
Game play quite normal but factor such as girl gift and level up goddess quite interesting.
