Wireless Wii Classic Controller to PC USB Adapter

I recommend updating the firmware first. This adapter is great, love looks of it. Plus its very useful as once paired with a controller it remembers it. So if you plug and play; you plug to switch it works, change it to pc the same controller still works (as xinput). No lag issues tested with a WiiU pro controller(actually wakes up console) and dualshock 4(gyro works, so its like a pro controller, doesn't wake up console tough, and touchpad works as capture button).
I don't give it 5 stars only because there's no place to put the cap while in use, so maybe it will get lost.

First off, I'd like to say it works. The red lights are a great indicator of whether or not the controller is plugged in, most of the buttons are mapped respectively. This is where I come to my problems with the adapter. We are down 3 buttons. 2 due to the GameCube controller's design and 1 from the adaptors design. Now losing the select and one of the z buttons isn't a complete loss, but you really appreciate the start button once it's been removed. On the switch, it's now registered as the Home button. I get what they were going for, but now I can't get past the opening cutscene to Blaster Master Zero. On paper, it makes sense to make the start button a home button. However, the start button is very much in a large number of games.
Now it does work with other games on switch fine if you don't need the 3 missing buttons. I think what it's best for is experimenting on other USB compatable devices. There's bound to be creative ways to us the adaptor, but on the switch it feels hindered and that's just because of one button.
If you want to use a GameCube controller on a USB compatable device this is so far the best priced item I've seen on the market.

What I would recommend to make it better? Well I find the Turbo Button unnecessary so if that can be removed in place of a home button that would make the placement all the more fitting. If there is a way to have an extra z and add a select button through the adapter I welcome it, but I'll take the home button idea if Brook will consider it.

I am always hunting for original controllers for the nes, this days that is almoust impossible to find, when I saw rhe announce about this adapter, I had my doubts, always this kind of things doesnt work as they announce, after watching some review, they said this thing was very good, I decided to buy. Also I bought 8bitdo controllers with the nes design. This thing works very well.

The design of the adapter is similar to a plug of an original nes controller, very easy to plug. To pair the controller just press the pair button on the adaptor and on the 8bitdo controller press start 3 seconds to turn on, there are different modes on the controller I have not that much idea the different modes, but just by turning on it paired.

The button mapping was Y = b button, B = a button, X = b turbo, A = a turbo, L and R doesnt do nothing.

The feeling of the 8bitdo nes controller it feels like an oroginal nes controller, I tried with battletoads, it feels so natural, just in the turbo tunnels and 11 stage I had trouble, because so fast stages, it was slow I felt, but in plataform stages feels so natural!

About the control vbutton mapping, I am happy how they put it, I think it deppends on the firmware installed, I just received mine the 1st of August so I think i git a newer firmware.

Also tried wii mote, so easy to pair! Just like original wii! It works so nice, I am happy this give me so many control support, and I have so many spare controllers for my other consoles.

The only bad thing I can see about this is the official web page, it looks pretty, but so hard to find the correct information, I was trying to look for detail manual, but is not that much detailed, also to make new mapping of the buttons I think you have to use computer and do something to the firmware... I think... Also the firmware is so confusing, if I download the most new it carries all the updates of the other updates? Or each one has different and specific function? I feel so scared to update, I sont want yo break my adapter.

Anyway, I really recommend this thing, even if you dont have the 8bit controllers, there are big chances you have a wii mote, ps4, Wii u pro controller. So this is a must buy!!!
