description

Capcom presents a formidable racing sim with the added gimmick of cel-shaded graphics. With its wide variety of cars and numerous custom tweaks and upgrades, Auto Modellista is sure to entertain fans of the Gran Turismo series. Unfortunately, the exciting prospect of online racing is restricted to narrowband Internet connections only, thus binding the game to a rapidly disappearing technology.

Capcom’s innovative racing game now on Xbox Live™ with Voice Chat. Ideal for Hardcore Xbox players everywhere.

No analogue acceleration/brake?......UNFORGIVABLE!
I already own the PS2 version but that only lets you access analogue braking/acceleration with the Logitech Driving Force wheel. The XBOX should have this as standard as its controller has analogue shoulder triggers but it's been ripped out completely from this version. As any half decent racing game player will tell you, the ability to vary your acceleration/brake pressure is essential if you wish to corner correctly. This absolutely cripples the game in my eyes....imagine if Capcom removed the punch buttons from Street Fighter...it's that bad! I'll give the game a point for its stylish cel shaded graphics and a point for the 60fps frame rate but I can't recommend this version. Shame as the original XBOX version could have been the definitive version....what a waste >_< !
