Great game, good environment
Kind of a creepy gritty game which was surprising. Excellent controls. Excellent gameplay with some added elements, such as shooting both left and right, not normally found in shoot em ups.

Very good game
Cave one of the best shooters editor.
One thing that could be improved on site: create a real search criteria "shoot'em up" because "shooting" is not specific enough.
thank you

DEATHSMILES Platinum Collection
The adjustable difficulty, cute characters and beautiful presentation makes DeathSmiles a very approachable title for novice players, and they'll have a lot of fun playing it. But, at the same time, it posesses the kind of intricate play mechanics and deep scoring system that shooting game veterans come to expect in a Cave release.

Clearing the game without continuing isn't particulary difficult for such people, or even moderately-skilled players, but mastering the game enough to score big and unlock every achievement certainly is.

This Platinum Collection edition comes complete with the Mega Black Label content (normally a downloadable add-on costing 1200 Microsoft Points) included on the disc, so its the one to go for.

Bottom line: This game is magnificent, a real modern classic, and if you have the means to play it (ie: a NTSC-J console), then its a 100% certified MUST BUY!
