Item Description

Yuki Kajiura, the composer and music producer behind Kalafina weaves her dark magic. Fiction II contains solemn music that resembles church hymns and the gentlest melodies.Atmospheric music from Xenosaga and Pandora Hearts demonstrates the range of styles Yuki Kajiura masters, Emily Binder is in charge of the vocals, bringing more power to the songs.

Some nice bits, but overall not my thing
Well, this is quintessential Yuki Kajiura. If you like her music, this CD won't disappoint. Personally, I do not like EVERYTHING she does, so I found this CD to be a bit of a mixed bag. Curiously, though, I suspect that the Xenosaga Episode 2 tracks were rerecorded or remastered for this CD - if you're really enthusiastic about Kajiura's contributions to that game, this CD might be worth buying for that reason alone. (The previously unreleased Xenosaga 2 song, though, I would've preferred if it remained unreleased, to be honest.)

The songs in the album are very attractive, if you like the style of hikari no senritsu, you must love this one.
