A unique game in the series
The Crystal Bearers offers a different gameplay using the Wii controls. Even though the controls are difficult at times, the rich world of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will draw the player in the game.

Awesome FF addition
The fact that it's a Final Fantasy is usually enough to get the RPG gamers juices going, with the anticipation of a grand adventure! I don't really know how much I can say, but, this one adds whole new elements of connectivity! I'm already considering getting a portable copy so that bonus features and the like can be discovered! I should be playing this for awhile! Great addition to the series!

Mystery and Mayhem
This game is an emulation of the DS version. Although the double viewing screens and Wii controls are awkward at first, you get used to them quickly. The story is somewhat simple and straightforward, but also very effective in presentation. The gameplay is a mix of puzzle solving and enemy battles. 4 classes provide variety and different experiences.

The music is beautiful and the graphics are about what you'd expect for a DS game. The single player experience is solid and fun. There's a lot of items to hunt down and levels to clear to keep you busy for a good while.

Online mode is where this game falls apart. If you're not hosting the game, the lag quite horrible, almost rendering the game unplayable online. People with bad connections will find online mode more a chore than entertaining.

Buy it for its single player experience. If you're looking for online fun, go with Phantasy Star Zero instead.
