Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster (Multi-Language) [English Cover]

For physical collectors this should be your only option when buying FF10/10-2. Both games are on the cart, not a download code that can expire or disappear off the eshop when the servers close years from now. As we move closer to the quote "all digital future" there will be a demand for physical media like this so you own it forever instead of letting a company or licensing agreement dictate how and when you can play games you spend your hard earned money on. The games themselves are great, all time classics, I doubt I would need to review them. This is just to comment on how other physical versions had only 10 on the cart and not 10-2.

The definite star of this compilation is FF X, however, FF X-2 is a good game if you are willing to look past it's issues (namely story and silly tone). The gameplay on both games is great.

A wonderful addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue but also one to keep a physical copy of in the current age of digital copies of games. The product as described is precisely true. The classic Final Fantasy X and the decisive sequel of Final Fantasy X-2 is finally portable with additional content that any fan of the series can enjoy. It is a nostalgic reminder of how a classic series transitioned into the era of breath taking visuals and serious themes that touch on what sacrifices that one makes for a greater purpose. A glance at the box art and the cartridge itself is so profound, it really does take you back to the hours spent on navigating the Sphere Grid or completing X-2 at 100%. A must buy for anyone who appreciates physical copies of games and fans who just want a good time at masterfully done turned based J-RPGs.

I grabbed this because both games were on cartridge, X-2 in North America (And Europe) are downloaded via online; while this release went the extra mile and put both in one cartridge format.
Game itself is a bit dated, and some of the models have few alterations compared to the main cast, which jarringly stand out sometimes; but the animated cutscenes still look great almost 2 decades later. The gameplay is pretty straightforward for your average Jrpgs and the stories are a bit ambiguous at times but enjoyable.
I'd recommend you buy this variant if you're looking for these games physically and in english.
