A faithful remake of the original game with additional flair added in the form of forging weapons, hidden support bonuses, and the weapon triangle. The game is loads of fun for those who like turn-based strategy with RPG elements.

A game originally offered on a 512KB cartridge couldn't offer too much in the way of text though - so be wary that the plot won't be as good as later games. I also missed the "rescue" and "shove" commands from later games, but that just shows you how the series has improved.

Love me some Fire Emblem
I love this series. It can be very frustrating but very rewarding at the same time.

Good old nostalgic
Reminded me of my experience playing fire emblem on the GBA. This time with improved graphic and game-play.
Nice nostalgic for me...
And for those enjoying the old series on the GBA, buy this game too...

Fire Emblem continues
Fire Emblem continues without really altering too much of its formula - this is both good and bad, but for the faithful, this is a good thing.

The game has a new visual style compared to other DS outings, which may or may not be to people's liking, however gameplay is very much in tact.
