Play Gameboy games on a cool colored Gameboy Player
There really isn't anything to say about hardware as far as reviewing it goes.

This is basically a way for you to play all your Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance games on the big screen TV. It has a link cable port so you can play multi-player and trade Pokemon. It doesn't have an infrared port to use with the Gameboy Color games which isn't a big deal since I don't know anyone who ever used it.

The orange color just stands out and looks awesome on an orange, black, or silver Gamecube. I wouldn't put it on a purple one because it looks funny. Right now, my is on the black Gamecube and really makes it stand out.

I have been curious about linking Gamecubes together and it does really work! If you have 2 TV's, 2 Gamecubes, 2 Gameboy Players, and which ever game, you can use the link cable port to 2 Gamecubes together and play the Gameboy game on a big TV. I also used another trick for Zelda 4 Swords Adventures. You need 1 Gamecube and Gameboy Player per player and 1 Master Gamecube. Each will require their own TV. If you have 4 players for 4 Swrods, you'll need 5 Gamecubes, 5 TV's, and 4 Gameboy to Gamecube links. Plug each Gameboy Player using the Link Port into the Controller port of the Master Gamecube. Each player will have their own full screen TV when entering the Gameboy screen instead of using the handheld. Doing this actually makes 4 Swords very interesting. The downside is that it costs a lot of money to do a simple trick.

All in all, great system that will play on American and Japanese Gamecubes. To play on an American Gamecube, you will need the American startup disc. This will not work on a Wii.
