The Greatest Gradius you never got to play
The original, PS1 version of Gradius Gaiden is the only one that can provide the real experience.

Its unique "Gauge Edit" system allows you to customize the power-up system to your liking (for instance, you can set up the "Option" power-up right after the "Speed Up" power-up in the gauge) . Add the return of the Lord British spaceship, plus a couple of excellent additions to the lineup. Also, one of the most memorable boss rushes in the franchise, a heart-pumping soundtrack and a new, ubernasty secret boss in the second run.

And in case you're wondering... YES, Gaiden has even Gradius V (another excellent entry) beaten in every aspect but the graphics (obviously) . So, if you get a chance to play this game, don't miss out! =D
