Works the way as it was advertised.
I don't understand why people say it needs to be wireless since for the most hardcore fighter fan/player, wireless has lag...and I assume this is for that type of person. And plus, you don't have to worry about your battery dying in the middle of a fight. Seriously, I hate recharging batteries if I can help it.

If you're a guy who swears by the stick, this review and product is not going to make you anymore of a believer, so don't bother even looking further into this.

The fight pad itself is great. This is actually my first pad I've purchased since I've been using stick. But a stick is way to damn bulky to bring to casual fighting game gatherings unless I'm in a tournament or I play at home. So I bought a pad.

I enjoy the fact that there are many customizable optiosn here. You have the adjustable D-pad (from angle to sensitivity), larger buttons (for those who hold the pad like an arcade stick), turbo functions (not really needed but nice to have), direction emulation (via d-pad or analogs) and shoulder buttons if you feel more comfortable playing the old school way. I also liked the fact that the one side has a grip and the other is flatter and stubbier, making this easy to play on your lap.

The D-Pad feels really nice and it's smooth. No more blisters on your thumb from rubbing...like I did when I played Tekken 5 non-stop for the PS2 when it first came out.

Like other reviews, it does feel kind of cheap, but I think that's because there's no rumble functions so much of the weight has been reduced.

My major complaint though, is the d-pad seems to shift on me every now and then, even when the dial to adjust the angle is locked. It's kind of annoying, but it is livable.

Otherwise, this is a solid product and highly recommended if you're a pad player.
