It does work
But it is obviously a very cheap product to make and the sound quality is bad.

Really bad sound quality
I was so excited to buy this speaker and when I received it in the mail I eagerly filled it with batteries, plugged in my iphone and turned it on. The sound quality is AWFUL! The 5 metres distance is a major overstatement as well, I start to get major static if the egg gets any more than 1 metre away from the duck. I regret my purchase and would never recommend it to anyone else.
