description

While maintaining the same addictive game play of popular dance titles, In the Groove features exclusive, never-before-seen features like modifiers that make the game arrows spin, change speeds, boomerang, and move in 3D along with over 60 other amazing effects that create additional challenges and endless customization for dance-game fans. Gameplay Modes: -Dance: The traditional mode of play. Dance for fun, or compete for personal or machine top score. -Battle Mode: Challenge a friend or the computer to an all-out competition in Battle Mode. In this mode, as you score better throughout a song, you will unleash modifiers on your competitors screen. The better you do, the harder it will be for your competitor to keep up and vice versa! -Marathon Mode: Play four or five songs in a row with no breaks in-between. Watch out! Some Marathons also feature arrow modifiers that will affect your game play. -Fitness Mode: This mode helps you stay in shape by developing an In The Groove exercise routine and tracking the amount of calories you burn. You can choose between 1 Player, 2 Player, or Double Fitness Modes. -Tutorial Mode: this is a great way for new players to familiarize themselves with the game.

Get it while it\'s still available!
Konami has acquired In The Groove and RoXoRGames is no longer allowed to touch it. Get this wonderful game and get the ITG 2 patch add-on for the best arcade experience at home! A few step charts have changed, but the same concept remains, hit the arrows when they reach the targets!

I love ITG (Roxor)
ITG is the best \"Machine Dance\" game ever.

It is a product made with lots of love.

A game from fans for fans.

Thank you very much Roxor!!!

It really is the next generation of machine dance
In The Groove is more than just a Dance Dance Revolution clone. While the format is the same, ITG takes things to the next level with a much sleeker interface, a more intelligent design, less \"distraction\" (like dancing characters), and a more coherent scoring system that take away almost any obstacle between you and the game itself.

The dancing itself is different too, in that extra moves are added - \"hands\" are bad enough, forcing you to use your hands (or some other appendage) to hit three pads at once, but \"mines\" (that lower your score when hit) are terrible trouble. These two features are used extensively on more difficult stages, probably to present new challenges to seasoned DDR players.

The game is also good for new machine dance players, because the Beginner mode gives all the help new players require by telling them precisely what to step with. In fact, all of the difficulty levels are perfectly matched to players of various skill levels - \"Easy\" on DDR could mean almost anything, but on ITG, it will always mean that a song presents a challenge to new players, but not much to more experienced players.

The combination of challenging machine dance veterans and having a very nice introduction for new players makes In The Groove the best choice, at least as far as PC dance games go. It\'s very well made, and obviously loved and understood by the people that made it (who were machine dance fans, after all). If you want to play a dancing game in front of your PC, play this - you won\'t regret it, and you won\'t beat it easily, either.
