Good resource
It's a good resource to help learn kanji that i don't know. It's also great to let people know what kanji are typically being studied in Japanese schools and when. I know there are a fair amount of "beginner" kanji in the game that I hadn't learned in college.

Better than i thought
I bought this game a while ago, thinking I'd soon give up because of the language barrier. Surprisingly, it's very simple to understand. The game itself is extremely straight forward. You can learn Kanji from year 1 to year 6, they give you the stroke order, and there are a lot of exercises. It's very repetitive, but that's the way to go if you want to learn Kanji. Definitely recommend this!

Great tool
This is the first of the two games, much is gained through the second game with numerous advances, but regardless this is still an extremely solid game that is good for intermediate Japanese students.

I have purchased this game in conjunction with My Japanese Coach and Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten. It is a great way to learn Kanji and Hiragana, especially stroke order as some of the stroke orders in My Japanese Coach are not quite correct.
You will need a good understanding of Hiragana and Kanji in order to enjoy this title to it's fullest.

Fantastic!
I am currently studying Japanese in Japan, and this has been very useful for studying and practicing kanji. It's small and convenient, and allows me to quiz myself on the train or anywhere else. A fantastic program.
Also, it's /fun/. I actually enjoy studying now. Also, it is very cute! Enjoyable all around. I will definitely be purchasing the next in the series.
