description

Karous is a shooting game taken from the arcade, previously remade for Dreamcast™ and now for Nintendo Wii™. Two tribes, the Fura who lives in the skies and Redin, who lives on land have always been at war. To the residents of Fura, the people of Redin are dangerous beings who are jealous of their advanced state of civilization and are aiming to overtake them.

During a battle between these two tribes, Karous, a mix-blooded child of Fura and Redin lost both of her parents. According to her father's last words, she is to search for the “blood of god”. Without an idea of what the “blood of god” is nor the complications involved in her own bloodline, she travels to Redin only to stumble upon the forbidden plans that involves people of both tribes.

Karous Wii utilizes the Wii system by including weapons such as a shield, a sword and a gun. Although it is a shooter, the sword is the highlight of the game. By swinging the Wiimote control in your hand, slash at the enemies on screen to deal critical damage. Get used to these weapons, as your chances of survival depends on them.

Aside from Karous, two other classic games, Chaos Field and Radirgy from the Milestone shooter series are included in the package. Both Chaos field and Radilgy are popular games that have been converted to multiple platforms. Chaos Field started out as an arcade game, but is then taken and remade for Dreamcast™, PlayStation2™ and Gamecube™. Likewise, Radilgy debutted as an arcade game, but was soon remade for Dreamcast™, Gamecube™ and PlayStation2™.

One of the most exciting shooters aviable
Enjoy shooting everything!
I was not shure about this game, but once tried, i can say that's one of the must for the GameCube.
Released in Japan and America.
Another excellent shooting game from Milestone, a must for any GameCube fan.
Originally coming from the mythic Dreamcast and rereleased for the Wii in the "Milestone Ultimate Collection" in Japan, algon with other three games.
One of the best works of Milestone.

Not perfect but a great addition for the shmup fan
It\'s certainly not the best shmup around,so don\'t expect that when buying this ,but if you love shmups you\'ll enjoy this one for sure.
It\'s something different, frantic and difficult action but not really a fast paced shooter. Some well-thought ideas from different shmups put together is the best way to describe this one.
It\'s nice to see a release after all this years for the dreamcast,i hope there will be more soon.
