La Corda d'Oro is one of the classiest romantic adventure games, participate in the concurs as the heroine Hino Kahoko, learn about classical music and appreciate its beauty as well as the respective charms of the male participants in this event.

Based on the second game in the series, this spin off carries more scenes and character plot lines than its PS2 release.

Take some time off your busy school and music practice schedules for the boys, go on dates with them and learn the different facets to their personalities, drawn by the shojo manga artist Kure Yuki and voiced by a star studded cast of seiyuu, Kiniro no Corda 2 f is Koei's gift to all romantics.

本作は、2007 年3 月15 日に発売されたPlayStation®2版『金色のコルダ2』に、下記の要素を追加してPSP®で登場します!

Beautiful Series
Great game. My favorite is still the first one but this one is a great follow-up to the first Giniro no Corda. The main character is the same as in the first one, and you have new characters in this second series.
This game takes place after the competition in the first game, and you need to create an ensemble for concert performances throughout the year.
You can easily follow this game without having played the first game.

Very nice
Gameplay is interesting and I think that if you enjoy classical music, it'd be nice.
Rather educational as well, in a way. Might inspire you to actually start learning an instrument if you have not.

game that appeals to music lovers
Though fundamentally an otome game, what i really like about kiniro no corda 2f is that there is some level of challenge when you play the protaganist (a violinist in a music academy) whose main goal is to form an ensemble and perform in the concerts. This aspect particularly appealed to me, who also plays the violin. ^_^

In order to do that, first you have to raised your violin-playing skills, practise the pieces you wish to perform, form good relationships with fellow musician or else you would have nobody to start an ensemble with, and also have to broadcast your concerts to the non-musicians else nobody will attend your concert; the success of the concerts is measured by

1) attendance of concert
2) each performer's individual familiarity with the music
3) overall group familiarity with music
4) level of difficulty of music
4) have to conform to the theme of concert given

apart from the concerts, the player also have the opportunity to develop the relationship with other musicians, which may lead to a romance. ^_^ as there can be multiple possible endings, the replayability value is pretty high.

one may also decide on the difficulty level (easy, normal, hard) of the game.

As the game is in Japanese, and fairly text-heavy, not being able to read it actually miss out alot of the fun, especially story-wise.
