Item Description
In 2013, the Macross franchise will celebrate its 30th anniversary. From the first songstress Lynn Minmei to the latest stars such as Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee are all going to join this celebration. The director Kawamori Shouji weaves a brand new plot to include the full cast of jet pilots, valkyries and ladies. The game takes places on a planet with unstable conditions. Bandits are everywhere, so hunters fly over to take them down. In this chaos, Ichijou Hikaru, flies over onto the planet to search for Lynn Minmei and Misa, and the other boys Basara and Saotome Aruto are in their fighter jets, ready to battle the newest threat.

Really Good Game
First off the bad:
The extras don't really justify the extra $100 as the artbook is nice but kind of small. Would be better if it had a limited nendoroid puchi thrown in.
The Good:
Unique story means unlike previous macross game releases, you are not following any preset story route with some variations.
Also despite being in Jap. the Gameplay UI is surprisingly simple enough that you can easily grasp most the controls and quests in a few minutes.
The open world approach works really well for the game
and the Tuning systems allows even older versions of the VFs to still keep up with the newer models
Middle Ground:
Graphics is of PSP quality, esp. the BGs and textures although they still strived to keep it the VFs looking nice, but everything else had to suffer in their place.
Also alot of Loading screens.
Overall it's a good game if you are a macross fan.
