Nara Yoshitomo: The Beginning Place Kokokara

From his excellent works dating back to his student days to his recent works, objects placed here and there in his studio, his treasured records, and various encounters from his birth in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture in 1959 to the present day.
A journey to the "place of beginnings" that has shaped Yoshitomo Nara. Home, stacked time-space, travel, No War, the rock cafe "33 1/3" and a small community. The exhibition includes photographs and illustrations of Nara's works, a detailed chronology, and essays by researchers, organized according to five themes to explore the trunk that leads to the origin of his sensibility.
