Item Description

Ryoichi Hattori is a pioneer composer of Japanese pop music. Ryoichi Hattori created many pioneering Japanese pop songs that incorporated foreign rhythms, melodies, and harmonies, including works by Shizuko Kasagi, the queen of boogie. This 7-inch cut is from the tribute album "Songs of the Century, Songs of the Heart: A Tribute to Ryoichi Hattori," in which many artists have expressed their respect for Ryoichi Hattori. The song is a middle-aged street fashion hymn sampling Noriko Awatani's "Oshare Musume" by Schadaraparr, "Oshare Middle" produced by Yasuhiro Konishi, performed by the Tetsuro Yabune Trio and Mitsukuni Tanabe, and features Masuyako Koda on vocals in the stylish jazz number "Tokyo Under the Roof" ( The album includes two songs, "Under the Roof of Tokyo" (original: Katsuhiko Haida), a stylish jazz number featuring Masuyako Koda on vocals. This long-awaited 7inch couples two of the most Vinyl-like songs from the tribute album.
