another classic game that is getting to be forgotten
What is the problem of today' gamers? They totally forgot what made gaming so good during the era of Namco and Sega racers. Now let's face it, both Namco and Sega made the greatest racers back in the day. But where are they now? They are not making any more because gamers would now rather play these new games that are cinematic but hardly even games. Ridge Racer 4 was a classic because it provided not one but two games, the gourad shaded Ridge Racer 4 itself, and the classic Ridge Racer original that can be played in its original form or in gourad shaded 60 frames per second goodness. If you look at today's racers most of them don't even run at 60 frames per second anymore. It is getting horrible and Sega and Namco should go back to making great racers. Since I cannot get good racers today on advanced consoles, I had to get this game on this website to go back to the glory days when racing games were still fun. 60 fps is the only way a racer can be enjoyable, the blistering speed and arcade feel of racers are not reproduced in today's games.
