Exciting, full of fast pace action and with a generous touch of naughtiness, the girls at Senran Kagura blazes into the 3DS screens. This time, the spotlight goes to the girls in the rival school. The Serpent Academy for ninja girls have their fair share of action. Be sure to choose them. This time a serious story is combined with sexiness and lots of humour. The unresolved plot twists in the previous instalment are going to be wrapped up here and the friendship between some of the girls is reaching a new level. There are a lot of new modes, and one of them is the 3D mode in the changing room. Laughter, tears, heart pounding moments and nosebleed, this game has it all.

If you're looking a solid beat em up as fun as Streets of Rage and Final Fight for 3DS, this is it.
Especially with its catchy ninjutsu theme soundtrack, sassy characters, and fun aerial attack.
Too bad the sequel (Deep Crimson) and spin-offs (Shinovi Versus, Estival Versus) took a different route, change the gameplay from fun beat 'em up into a mere hack and slash (Dynasty Warriors style).
I hope someday this franchise go back to its fun beat 'em up gameplay again.
When Senran Kagura was launched in America, I hoped it to come later in physical edition. That day never came and I was a little upset about that, so I got the digital edition and that day, I understood what love to a game was.
Years later, I got a 2DS and installed it some homebrew channel to play some games before buying them. But I found that homebrew apps helps 2DS software to become region-free. That's the reason I'm buying this game again, just to have it the correct way it should be collected.
Thanks Play-Asia for this discount! I'm really happy now! :D
While the frame rate sometimes does suffer even on the New 3DS XL, this can be forgiven as you get lovely well-breasted ninjas (with the odd flat chest).
Having watched the anime before picking this title up to play, it is easy to see the anime and game references. That aside, if you're into button mashers, then give this a shot. The graphics look good (not cell-phone quality), environments look great (no 16x16 stretched textures) and it's full of boobs and panties... Only thing missing is a Poser Mode so you can make your own scenes with the characters if you're so inclined.
Don't expect the missions to be easy though - there is a curve in the difficulty and some missions will take many attempts to beat them, but that gives the player the satisfaction once they complete it.
4 Stars, as the framerate drops do make the game lag with processing input, sometimes you'll want to do a combo but the character won't respond due to it having to drop frames.
The only senran kagura series in 3ds. If you Play while turning on your 3d you fint the game is so much arousing to play with when tearing those girl clothes.
