Basic, nothing special
The game isn't terrible, but it doesn't do anything better than (or as well as) many games of the same type.
The roster is limited to only 10 characters, despite having many more to use from the source material. Combat is very basic with the only natural combos being jump C > B > special, unless you manage to counter hit with a heavy attack leading into some of the most ridiculously huge combos imaginable, and being the only way to use the ultimate attacks.
Controls are stiff with 623 motions turning into 236 almost all the time, making some combos much harder than they should be. There are also limited defense options making pressure way too effective, and block stun also gives too much frame advantage to the attacker.
Modes are limited to combo challenges of 15 per character, VS, online VS offline, and Arcade with no story outside the general intro and voice endings.
The limited story is a shame considering the source material, which means fans of the characters don't have a lot to look forward to either.
The trophies are easy enough if you're a hunter with at least a bit of fighting game experience, but you'll need a boosting partner online.
The updated version called Koihime Enbu is now available, making this version completely obsolete.

Great Game
Um ótimo game de luta infelizmente desconhecido por muitos no Ocidente mas que certamente tem seu charme e ainda mostra que jogos em 2D tem muito a oferecer ainda.

Great fighter
Really solid fighting game. Above the generic japanese anime-girl filled fighters that overflow the market. Sure, this one also falls in the category, but at least the fighting mechanics are good.
