A classic game factory sealed for my collection.
So ya, i'm a game collector, so I found this little game hanging around here at a really good price and I had to buy it.
We all know Space Invaders, I didn't buy it to play it, just to keep it factory sealed.

Well, nothings changed since Atari
Space Invaders has been around since 1978 and it hasn't changed much. This is one of those games that could use a little bit of change, but the classic itself is very good. It does get tedious after a while, but you always have 2 player mode that helps a lot. 2 player is where the game is at. There is nothing better than 2 player head to head competition in an arcade game. The other arcade 2 player head to head game to play is Bust A Move, but that is for a different review.
Space Invaders works like this, enemies come from any side of the screen and make their way into a pattern on the top half while you stay mostly on the bottom and shoot them. You defeat the enemies and the next wave appears. It is a very simple concept, but you need to pay full attention to the screen at all times.
The game would get a perfect score, but I have had my share of this game from the Atari version to the 3DS. Get this game for the 2 player mode.
This game will NOT fit into a Super Famicom unless you take the top half of the case for the Super Famicom off. This fits only in a NTSC Super Nintendo. It will not play on a PAL system due to the different region power settings.
