Puzzle games typically fall into one of two categories: Plays like Tetris & doesn't play like Tetris. Opting for the latter, Jaleco's Super Bubble Pop mixes fresh puzzle gameplay with hypnotic trance tunes.
The Rules
Your objective is simple: You must quickly and efficiently clear the grid of bubbles to advance to the next stage while gaining as many points as possible. If you connect three or more bubbles of the same color in a vertical or horizontal line, they pop. A stage is completed by clearing the grid of bubbles or collecting the required number of stage points.
Crazy Characters
Five funky DJ Poppers are at your disposal. Each animated DJ comes complete with his or her own Super Special Attack. These attacks come in nine different flavors, including the ability to freeze the grid's advance or clearing out sections of bubbles in a pyrotechnic display.
As if the visuals weren't trippy enough, a trance-infused soundtrack keeps you in your puzzle groove. Each platform has a unique set of four tracks. The Jukebox allows you to select the order you want to listen to all the music.
Multiplayer
Players can also compete in the handy two-player mode that includes new power-ups that aren't available in the single player game.
